This strawberry ice cream is such a pleasure. Super simple to make and with summer-sweet ripe strawberries this ice cream tastes divine. Less is more.
Strawberry ice cream
2-3 servings
2 egg yolks
15 g sugar
250 g strawberries
70 g sugar
2 dl heavy cream
In a bowl whisk egg yolks together with 15 g of sugar until light and fluffy. Blend strawberries together with the rest of the sugar and fold in the egg mixture. Whisk the cream until a nice whipped consistency and gently fold into the strawberry cream. Churn to ice cream in the ice cream machine.
