Crunchy on the outside and dreamy soft on the inside. These small plum cakes are filled with wonderful white chocolate and so delightful.
Small plum cakes with white chocolate
6 servings
70 g butter
70 g white chocolate, Ivoire 35% from Valrhona, chopped
1 egg
60 g sugar
40 g plain flour
1 pinch og salt
6 plums, cut in halves
2 tbsp sugar
Melt the butter in a small sauce pan. Remove from heat and add the white chocolate to the butter. Stir gently to let the white chocolate melt into the butter and combine. In a bowl whisk together egg, sugar, flour and salt until light and fluffy. Slowly fold in the butter-chocolate mixture. Pour the cake batter into 6 small buttered cake tins. Place to plum halves with the inside facing up and sprinkle with sugar. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for about 15 minutes. Cool down completely before removing from the cake tins.
