Easy-peasy healthy and very tasty energy-filled snacks!
Date balls with orange
200 g dates
200 g almonds
2 tbsp cocoa powder, preferably from Valrhona
1/2 orange, the juice of
1/4 tsp sea salt
20 g cocoa powder, preferably from Valrhona
20 g shredded coconut
In a food processor process the almonds until crumbly. Then add the dates, cocoa powder, orange juice and salt and process again until you get a sticky batter. Roll spoonsfulls of the batter between your hands to form bite-sized balls. Roll them in cocoa powder and shredded coconut. Store in the refrigerator until serving.
