These french toasts with a sprinkle of cinnamon, chocolate, hazelnuts and blueberries make a perfectly cozy and delicious December breakfast.
Christmas french toast with cinnamon, hazelnuts, chocolate and blueberries
2 servings
1 egg
2 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 dl whole milk
4 slices toast bread or brioche bread
30 g butter for frying
Topping:
1-2 tbsp sukker
extra cinnamon
fresh blueberries
hazelnuts
choppede dark chocolate
Whisk together egg, sugar, milk and cinnamon in a bowl. Dip the bread in the egg mixture and fry golden brown in butter and the flip to fry the other side. Arrange the french toast on a plate and sprinkle with sugar, more cinnamon, blueberries, hazelnuts and chocolate. Serve straight away.
