These chocolate cookies filled with milk chocolate drops are so simple to make and taste so divine. Enjoy them hot straight out of the oven or cooled down.
50 g good quality dark chocolate, melted
100 g butter, softened
75 g brown sugar
75 g sugar
140 g plain flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
10 g cocoa powder
1/2 tsp salt
80 g milk chocolate drops from Valrhona (feel free to use finely chopped milk chocolate instead)
Whisk well together chocolate, butter, brown sugar and sugar in a bowl. Add the egg and stir well. Then add flour, baking powder, cocoa powder and salt and stir well again. Add half of the milk chocolate drops into the cookie dough and form 15 equal sized cookie balls of the cookie dough. Place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper – remember to make space between the cookies for spreading. Press the rest of the milk chocolate drops into the cookie balls and bake them in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for about 12 minutes.
